    Small radio suggestions.

Like my antenna thread, looking for a smaller radio for the new ride. Suggestions?

Was running a Cobra 148. Not enough room in the new ride.20180204_142718.jpg

There's several small radios that will fit right in the dash with a little work... Uniden 680 is what I have in the Tacoma.

Last radio I had in the Suburban was a Uniden 520xl (which IMO) is a better radio than the 680.

Then there's always the Anytone Smart CB which is actually a 10 meter radio that can be converted.
...Never had one, but from all the reviews I have seen, it seems to be a solid radio, haven't seen anything negative about it.

Yeah I have been looking at the uniden radios a little bit, even considered the Cobra 25 LX as well. Not sure yet something will jump out at me.

The Unidens I posted are going to be smaller than the 25...The 680 is only 2" tall, and 6"wide, 6" deep...The 520 (and the 505, and 510) are 1" tall, 6" wide, and 6" deep....The Anytone Smart CB is like the size of a deck of playing cards...You could clip it on the sun-visor.
