    ERF7530 Mosfet Replacements

RF Parts now sells these new replacements for the ERF7530 final that was discontinued and is crazy hard to find. Some mosfet amplifiers use these as well as the RFX75 outboard amplifier units Magnum radio's used.

Mark at Fine Tune CB Shop mentioned in one of his YouTube videos that both the ERF7530 and ERF9530 were good components. He more or less mentioned it in passing, didn't give any kind of detailed info worth passing along, but the fact that a reputable Tech so far approves of the new parts is a promising sign IMO.

I repaired a palomar 450 fet amplifier for a local back when you could still but the 7530. The palomar labeled amplifiers that were built with bipolar transistors in the early 2000's were not the greatest so I had my doubts but the 450 fet had 1 7530 driving 4 and was a decent little amplifier. I'm glad to see some replacement transistors have been found. All the transistors were good but the trace between the driver and final stage burned. I think it was over driven but will never know for sure.
