There was a guy that used to work for Texas star ND he was working on them but his website is gone. I am not sure if he is still around anymore.

I don't think Texas star does repair work. Your best bet is to find a reputable amp builder that will work on them.

He probably does. I know he fixed an amp for him. His name is Mike.

I know Key CB will repair an amplifier as well as Doug at Custom CB Radio's. What kind of problem are you having? Reason I ask is several of the common problems are easy fixes like a burned variable control, bad pre-amp, keying transistor.

It appears that Mike Hawkins (The guy that ran Texas Star Amp Repair) as gone out of business. I tried his phone but got no answer. That’s too bad because he was an excellent Texas Star technician.

We have a guy here in the upstate of South Carolina that is also great at repairing TS amps but does not take mail in jobs, only drop offs.
