    Nothin New Under the Sun

It's funny....i been out of radio for over 6 years and nothing has progressed....its a shame.....the modulator thing is really cool and is corrected version of progressive AM modulation aka negativity be peak limiting.

i remember when MMM was coming on the scene and I was leaving the cb scene I running Universal Audio tube preamps on blue,pr40 and re20 microphones. I was running Omnia rack gear and Wave & Isotep plug-ins. I was using REA modulation meters monitoring my negative peaks from my Inovonics 222. Also was running the first Flex radio and I was direct injecting a TS-850 wide band.
All that old!!!i happened across this thread and I'm shocked nothing has progressed.
People talking about wide band audio, 150% modulation and negative peak limiting like its newest thing since sliced bread.

wheres the advancement? I'm going back under the rock I crawled out of and will comeback when there's real competition.

    There honestly isn't......zzzz

When I left radio in 2001 I was running with 180% positive 99% negitive peaks HIFI 80-5k audio. The good news is I hear more hifi stations in dx land. I can't remember hearing more then 1 or 2 hifi's in dx CB in the 90's.(Jersey Shore did have a few back in the day!) Good that triple m is getting the learn on. Remember hearing about him around 2010 when I setup my first Cali station. But his product will never give you any good hifi sound without a lot of learning.

The Mauldulator gives u a ton of Headroom or Dynamic Range that u can't get with a stock setup and you don't have to worry about the HI-FI limitations of the stock modulator. I run one too......
